The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a voluntary, non-competitive and flexible programme of cultural and adventurous activities for all young people aged between 14 and 25 years old, whatever their background or ability.
At Tenbury High we offer the Bronze Award in Year 9 and the Silver Award in Year 10 – each award consists of the following components
Physical: improving fitness by taking part in a physical activity
Skill: pursuing and improving a skill/interest
Volunteering: participating in a charitable or community project
The Expedition: completing a pre-planned route over several day as part of a team
